Requirements

• Should be able to set test standards to enable consistent, high-quality tests.
• Should have good market knowledge on quality process, tools and their usage.
• Work closely with development team to develop test cases for each functionality.
• Should be able to co-ordinate with Customers and Presales team.
• Strong understanding of client/server and Web architecture.
• Sound knowledge of Web Server and Browsers.
• Own the Release Engineering Process.

Our expectations

You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science or Software. You will ideally be someone with 3 – 4 years of experience in the industry. You love to learn new technologies and constantly adapt. You are familiar with Agile / Scrum techniques. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a strong bias towards automatic repeated tasks.  You will most likely be from a product company or another start-up. While we’re not hung up over any of the above requirements, the above are reasonably good guidelines for you to determine if you are going to be a good fit.

Mandatory technical skills

1. Writing Testcases using Test tools like TestLink, Tarantula, Squash TM.
2. Performance Testing experience with Jmeter.
3. Web/App servers like Apache httpd/tomcat/Jboss.
4. Manual Testing of Web Application and Mobile Applications.
5. Knowledge of Shell/Python/Powershell scripts.

Nice to have technical skills

1. Experience in continuous integration tools like Jenkins/Hudson.
2. Should have worked in at least one Agile/Scrum/RUP/Iterative based project/product.
3. Experience with cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Open Stack.
4. Experience in No-SQL Database like Cassandra/Mongo/Couch/Redis.
5. Experience in in-memory or light weight databases.
6. Performance tuning, Clustering, Load balancing.
7. Experience in development tools like Java/ J2EE and Cucumber.
8. Understanding of Data structures, Algorithms and Design Patterns.
9. Writing Automated Testcases using Selenium, Appium and Auto.
